Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team at Shah and Patel Offshore Private Limited. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, experience with US GAAP, and the ability to work efficiently within US time zones. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage end-to-end accounting tasks for US-based clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end accounting for US clients, including AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP

• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations

• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities

• Manage journal entries, accruals, and adjustments

• Assist with tax-related documentation and reporting requirements for US entities

• Ensure accuracy and compliance with client-specific accounting procedures

• Communicate with clients for clarifications, updates, and reporting needs

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely deliverables

• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial data

Required Qualifications

• CA / Inter CA (Mandatory)

• 0–3 years of experience with in US accounting; experience.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes

• Familiarity with US GAAP (preferred but not mandatory)

• Proficiency in Excel, accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, etc. preferred)
