Job Title: Sr. Accountant
Location: Borivali West in Gorai
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reports To: Accountant / Finance Manager
Job Summary:
The Accounts Assistant supports the finance team by handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. The role requires attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records (invoices, receipts, payments)
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
Handle accounts payable and receivable
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
Assist with payroll processing (if required)
Support audits and tax filings
Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial data
Assist senior accountants with daily accounting tasks
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP)
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Balance Sheet Finalization
Profit & Loss Finalization
Salary TDS & PF Working Finalization
Indirect and Direct Taxation Copulation
GST Working Finalization and tally Entry Pass
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Experience:
Min Exp:- 5+yrs
Key Skills:
Good communication skills
Time management and organization
Problem-solving ability
Ability to work independently and in a team
Knowledge of GST, VAT, or local tax regulations etc.
Experience with ERP systems
