Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, managing payments and collections, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.

• Verify, process, and record vendor invoices and bills.

• Prepare and process vendor payments and maintain payment schedules.

• Follow up with customers for outstanding payments and receivables.

• Maintain accurate records of customer and vendor accounts.

• Perform regular bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.

• Prepare and post journal entries, receipts, payments, and other accounting transactions.

• Maintain proper documentation for all accounting transactions.

• Monitor aging reports for payables and receivables.

• Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

• Support GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.

• Assist in preparation of MIS and financial reports.

• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting-related issues.

• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in AP & AR.

• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

• Good knowledge of GST and TDS.

• Experience with Tally / ERP / accounting software.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas and data reconciliation.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in handling complete AP & AR cycles.

• Experience in vendor/customer reconciliation and payment follow-ups.

• Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and documentation.

• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period may be preferred.

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
