Senior Accountant

Job Title: Accountant (Full-Time)

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years

Qualification: B.Com or higher

# About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities (proprietorships, partnerships, LLPs, and private limited companies).

The person should be well-versed with Tally, Excel, and have a sound understanding of GST, Income Tax, ROC and other Statutory compliances.

# Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain books of accounts in Tally

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and petty cash

• Prepare data and coordinate with consultants for GST returns, ITR filings, and ROC compliances

• Prepare balance sheets and financial summaries in Excel from Tally data for finalisation of accounts

• Support and follow up with CAs, advisors, and consultants to ensure timely compliance

• Maintain organized documentation and filing of vouchers, bills, and statements

• Handle basic financial reporting and assist in finalization work

• Meet consultants and handle external coordination as required

• Work with support staff and ensure timely completion of accounting tasks

# Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel (including balance sheet preparation)

Good understanding of GST, Income Tax, and ROC compliances

• Trustworthy, responsible, and proactive in managing accounts independently

• Good coordination and follow-up skills with professionals

• Ability to apply common sense and judgment in day-to-day tasks

• Preferably able to ride a two-wheeler for local visits

# Working Hours:

10.00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

Occasional flexibility may be required to meet filing or compliance deadlines.

# Salary Range:

₹17,000 onwards per month (depending on experience and capability)

# Preference:

• Candidates residing within 30–40 minutes of Park Circus

• Prior experience of independently handling business accounts

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 4 - 6+ years Experience.
