Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management

· Verify daily accounting vouchers and bank reconciliations.

· Maintain monthly stock records and reconcile them with accounting books.

· Process vendor payments and monitor customer receivables.

· Reconcile inter-company, branch, and vendor/customer ledgers.

· Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statements and annual Balance Sheets.

· Supervise bookkeeping activities and ensure accurate financial records.

· Assist management with financial analysis and reporting.

Taxation (GST, TDS & TCS)

· Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and TCS regulations.

· Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns.

· Reconcile GST Input and Output with GSTR-2A/2B and accounting records.

· Process monthly TDS/TCS payments and file statutory returns on time.

· Pass accurate accounting entries for TDS deductions and TCS collections.

Banking & Compliance

· Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and stock statements.

· Coordinate documentation for bank renewals and quarterly submissions.

· Ensure compliance with banking regulations and statutory requirements.

· Support internal and external audits.

Import Documentation

· Handle import documentation, Letters of Credit (LC), and payment schedules.

· Coordinate with banks and vendors for import-related transactions.

Required Skills

· Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, and statutory compliance.

· Experience in preparing Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and MIS reports.

· Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime) and advanced MS Excel.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

· Leadership ability to manage and guide the accounts team.

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
