Senior Accountant

We are looking for an Senior Accountant to join our team at Prabhat Renewable Energy And Agro Limited. The role involves managing financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The position offers ₹30000 - ₹60000 and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Taxation Management: Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, including computation, filing, and payment of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable taxes.

2. Accounts Finalization: Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

3. Statutory Audit Coordination: Liaise with statutory auditors, ensure timely submission of schedules, and resolve audit queries for seamless audit completion.

4. Litigation Support: Assist in handling tax litigation matters, prepare documentation, draft responses, and coordinate with consultants and authorities.

5. Internal Controls: Implement and monitor strong internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.

6. Reconciliations: Oversee key reconciliations including bank, vendor, customer, GST, TDS, and inter-company accounts.

7. Financial Analysis: Provide insights through variance analysis, MIS reporting, and support management in decision-making.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 4 - 6+ years of experience. Additionally, candidates are required to have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Additional certification (if any) is a plus. Applicants must have strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
