Senior Accountant

Industry Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) Manufacturing & Distribution

Experience Required 6–10+ Years

Salary ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month (Based on experience and expertise)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee the company's accounting operations, taxation compliance, financial reporting, and team management. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliances, CA coordination, and accounting processes related to manufacturing and distribution businesses. The candidate must be capable of leading and managing the accounts team while ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial matters.

• Accounting & Finance

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain books of accounts.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Ensure proper accounting of purchases, sales, inventory, and fixed assets.

• Maintain accurate cost records related to RMC production and distribution.

• Taxation & Compliance

• Handle GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, reconciliations, and input tax credit verification.

• Ensure timely deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS returns.

• Coordinate with Chartered Accountants for statutory audits, tax audits, and annual filings.

• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, PF, ESI, and other statutory regulations.

• Respond to notices and queries from tax authorities when required.

• Financial Control & ReportingPrepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, budget reports, and financial analysis.

• Monitor company expenses and recommend cost-control measures.

• Assist management in financial planning and decision-making.

• Ensure proper internal controls and accounting procedures are implemented.

• Team Management

• Lead, supervise, and mentor the accounts team.

• Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.

• Ensure timely completion of accounting and compliance activities.

• Coordinate with operations, sales, procurement, and management teams.

• Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.

• Experience in coordinating with CA firms and auditors.

• Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, ERP systems, and accounting software.

• Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and team management abilities.

• Experience in manufacturing or construction-related industries will be preferred.

• Educational Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)

• CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred
