Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, and financial records.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, payment records, receipts, and expense statements.
• Perform regular bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports.
• Assist in preparation and review of Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
• Manage GST-related accounting, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Coordinate for TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and related records.
• Ensure timely filing and maintenance of statutory compliance-related documents.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up for timely closure.
• Verify expenses, bills, purchase invoices, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and other stakeholders as required.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company accounting policies.
• Identify discrepancies in financial records and take corrective action.
• Support management with financial data, reports, and analysis whenever required.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
• Experience with Tally/ERP/accounting software will be preferred.
• Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage accounts independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
