Role Purpose
To manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial records while supporting the Chartered Accountant in compliance, filings, and audit-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally Prime
• Perform bank reconciliations, vendor ledger reconciliation, and customer account reconciliation
• Prepare data and provide support for GST and TDS returns (filing handled by CA)
• Assist in preparation of project cost sheets and valuation reports
• Ensure proper documentation, record keeping, and audit readiness
• Support internal audits and coordinate with external auditors and CA
• Ensure accuracy in entries and adherence to accounting standards and timelines
Required Skills and Qualifications
• B.Com or M.Com with 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, and online banking portals
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting fundamentals
• Experience in supporting CA for return filings and audit processes
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and reliability
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Hands-on experience in accounting with the ability to manage books independently
• Comfortable working in a multi-entity business environment
• Prior experience in real estate, construction, or trading organizations preferred
• Strong coordination and communication skills to work closely with CA and management
