Job Description (JD) – Accountant (CA Level)
Position: Accountant / Senior Accountant
Department: Accounts & Finance
Location: Kalibadi ,Raipur
Reporting To: Finance Manager / Director
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Accountant with CA-level knowledge to manage financial records, taxation, audits, compliance, and financial reporting. The candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS, MIS reporting, and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally / ERP.
Manage ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliation, and journal entries.
Handle accounts payable & receivable.
Taxation & Compliance
Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, Income Tax data.
Ensure timely statutory compliance.
Coordinate with CA for audits and assessments.
Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly MIS reports, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow.
Analyze expenses, revenue, and profitability.
Budgeting and forecasting support.
Audit & Internal Control
Assist in internal and external audits.
Maintain proper documentation and records.
Implement financial controls and SOPs.
Payroll & Vendor Management
Process salaries, PF, ESIC if applicable.
Handle vendor payments and reconciliation.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Tally, Excel, GST, TDS.
Good understanding of accounting principles.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Communication and reporting skills.
Qualification:
CA Inter / CA Final / Qualified CA preferred
B.Com / M.Com with strong experience can also apply.
Experience:
3+ years in Accounts & Finance preferred.
Jewellery / Retail industry experience added advantage.
Salary:
Negotiable as per experience and skills.
