🔹 Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant responsible for managing accounting operations, handling Letter of Credit (LC) documentation, overseeing banking transactions, and preparing accurate financial statements including the balance sheet. The candidate should ensure compliance with financial regulations and support audit processes.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

✅ Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Prepare and finalize balance sheet, profit & loss account, and cash flow statements

• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations

• Handle month-end and year-end closing processes

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

✅ Letter of Credit (LC) Management

• Prepare and process LC documents for import/export transactions

• Coordinate with banks for LC issuance, amendments, and settlements

• Verify shipping and trade documents (Invoice, BL, Packing List, etc.)

• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations (UCP guidelines)

✅ Banking Operations

• Manage daily banking transactions (payments, receipts, fund transfers)

• Prepare bank-related documents such as Bank Guarantee (BG), LC, remittances

• Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS)

• Liaise with banks for credit facilities, limits, and documentation

✅ Compliance & Audit

• Assist in internal and external audits

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and tax regulations

• Maintain proper documentation for financial records

✅ Team Management

• Supervise and guide junior accountants

• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting tasks

🔹 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• CA / CMA (preferred)

• 3–7+ years of experience in accounting, with LC & banking exposure

🔹 Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of LC procedures and banking documentation

• Expertise in financial statement preparation (Balance Sheet, P&L)

• Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or ERP systems

• Good understanding of taxation (GST, TDS)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

🔹 Preferred Industry Experience

• Import/Export
