Job Responsibilities:
Manage complete accounting operations and ensure compliance with accounting principles and statutory regulations.
Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statements.
Handle budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control measures.
Monitor and manage working capital, including receivables, payables, inventory levels, and cash flow.
Prepare detailed MIS reports and financial analysis for management decision-making.
Manage inventory accounting, stock valuation, stock reconciliation, and inventory controls for Veterinary and Pharmaceutical products.
Handle import and export accounting, including LC, Advance Payments, Customs Duty, Freight, Import Documentation, and Foreign Remittance transactions.
Monitor outstanding receivables and vendor payments to ensure optimum cash flow management.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
Reconcile GSTR-2B, Input Tax Credit (ITC), vendor accounts, and bank accounts.
Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and government authorities for audits and compliance matters.
Prepare fund flow and cash flow statements and support working capital planning.
Monitor product costing, inventory aging, and stock movement analysis.
Ensure accurate accounting of import purchases, export sales, customs duties, freight charges, and foreign exchange transactions.
Handle month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, Financial Reporting, and Corporate Accounting.
Expertise in Budgeting, Forecasting, Working Capital Management, and Cash Flow Planning.
Experience in Inventory Accounting and Cost Control within the Veterinary or Pharmaceutical Industry.
Strong knowledge of Import-Export Accounting, LC Documentation, Customs Procedures, and Foreign Trade Transactions.
Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, Taxation, Audit, and Statutory Compliance.
Proficiency in Tally Prime, ERP, SAP, or similar accounting software.
Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, MIS Reporting, and Financial Analysis.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Experience in the Veterinary, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, FMCG, or Manufacturing Industry preferred.
Ability to independently manage accounts, finance, taxation, inventory, budgeting, and working capital functions.
Strong understanding of inventory controls, import-export operations, and financial planning.
Excellent coordination skills with internal departments, auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.
