Senior Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee general accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a thorough knowledge of accounting principles, and hands-on experience with accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations including AP/AR, GL, bank reconciliations.

• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

• Supervise and guide junior accountants and bookkeepers.

• Maintain records of financial transactions, vouchers, and invoices.

• Monitor compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.

• Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.

• Manage TDS, GST filings, and other statutory compliance.

• Support management with reports and financial analysis for decision-making.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS), GST, and Income Tax.

• Proficiency in accounting software like Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.

• Good communication and team management skills.
