Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilitie

Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements

Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to ensure financial stability

Ensure compliance with taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) and other regulatory requirements

Coordinate with auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits

Develop, implement, and maintain effective financial controls and accounting policies

Support management with MIS reports, financial analysis, and decision-making inputs

Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to enhance departmental efficiency

Liaise with external stakeholders such as banks, vendors, and consultants when required

Qualifications & Skill

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance

5–8 years of proven experience in accounting and finance, preferably in [insert relevant industry: healthcare/technology/services]

Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
