Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with 5+ years of experience, preferably in the real estate industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting transactions, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Monitor project-wise accounting and cost tracking for real estate developments.
Process vendor payments, customer receipts, and maintain financial records.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and related documentation.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits.
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Assist management with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning.
Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights for decision-making.
Ensure accurate maintenance of accounting records in ERP/Tally systems.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in Tally ERP, Busy, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.
CA Inter / M.Com preferred.
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
