Key Responsibilities:

• Check & manage daily accounting tasks including payments, deposits, and expenses.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and budget forecasts.

• Balance/match bank statements and ensure timely completion of tax filings.

• Audit financial records to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

• Analyze financial data to provide insights on the company’s liquidity and financial health.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 1 - 4 years of experience. Additionally, candidates are required to have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Additional certification (if any) is a plus. Applicants must have strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting, with prior experience in the textile or garment manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.

• Prepare and finalize financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.

• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax filings, and statutory compliances.

• Monitor and maintain inventory accounting for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.

• Manage costing and budgeting processes, ensuring cost control in manufacturing.

• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff and ensure accurate bookkeeping.

• Liaise with auditors, banks, vendors, and other stakeholders for financial matters.

• Conduct regular financial analysis to support decision-making.

• Implement and maintain internal controls for smooth financial operations.

• Prepare periodic MIS reports and support management with insights.
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter) preferred.

• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in textile or garment manufacturing.

• Proficiency in Tally ERP / Accounting Software.

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian Taxation Laws.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
