Role Overview
The Senior Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, project-wise financial reporting, customer & vendor accounts, and compliance specific to the real estate sector. The role ensures accurate financial records, timely billing, MIS reports, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain and update general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Handle project-wise accounting for residential/commercial real estate projects.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage TDS, GST, RERA-related accounting entries.
2. Billing, Invoicing & Receivables
Prepare demand letters, milestone-based invoicing as per construction progress.
Follow up on customer payments and maintain receivables aging.
Monitor and reconcile customer ledger accounts.
3. Payables & Vendor Management
Verify contractor/vendor bills with work orders and site measurements.
Process payments with proper documentation and approvals.
Maintain vendor ledgers and ensure timely reconciliation.
4. Compliance & Taxation
Manage GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and ensure input credit reconciliation.
Handle TDS deduction & returns (24Q/26Q).
Support statutory audits, internal audits, and RERA audits.
5. Bank & Cash Management
Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
Monitor project-wise fund flow and cash flow.
Manage petty cash and maintain cash books.
6. MIS & Reporting
Prepare project cost sheets, cash flow statements, and profitability reports.
Track revenue recognition (as per AS/Ind-AS 115 – Real Estate Revenue).
Provide monthly MIS to management for decision-making.
7. Coordination
Coordinate with sales, project, and legal teams for invoicing and documentation.
Liaise with auditors, consultants, financial institutions, and government bodies.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of real estate accounting and project finance.
Expertise in Tally ERP / SAP / Real Estate CRM (e.g., FAR Vision, Suryoday, PMS).

Qualifications
