Senior Accountant

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts receivable/payable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with GST, TDS, and other tax-related filings.

Role & responsibilities

1. Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
2. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
3. Manage statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, and other tax-related filings.
4. Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
5. Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
6. Develop and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.

7. Hands-on experience with accounting software ( e.g., Tally ERP & Busy Systems ).
