Sourav and Associates is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and client accounting assignments.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and review books of accounts and accounting records.
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances.
Prepare and review GST returns, TDS returns and related reconciliations.
Conduct bank, ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare financial statements, MIS reports and management reports.
Assist in audit, tax audit and income tax return assignments.
Review accounting entries, invoices, vouchers and supporting documents.
Coordinate with clients for accounting and compliance-related requirements.
Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely rectification.
Support senior professionals in financial and tax advisory assignments.
Ensure timely completion of assigned client deliverables.
Requirements
Qualification: B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter/CA or equivalent.
Experience: 3–6 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation or audit.
Strong knowledge of Tally/ERP, MS Excel and accounting software.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliance.
Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently manage multiple client assignments and deadlines.
Preferred
Experience in a CA/CS/Tax consultancy or professional services firm.
Practical experience in handling multiple clients.
Knowledge of audit and financial statement preparation.
