Job Description

Accounting & Financial Management

Manage complete books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Monitor and control accounts payable and receivable
Perform bank, cash, and inter-company reconciliations

Taxation & Compliance

Handle GST compliance: returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconciliations, and assessments
Manage TDS compliance: calculation, returns, and Form 16/16A issuance
Support Income Tax computations, advance tax, and assessments
Ensure timely statutory filings and liaison with tax authorities

Audit & Reporting

Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors
Prepare audit schedules, explanations, and documentation
Handle audit queries and ensure timely closures
Assist in preparation of MIS reports and management dashboards

Payroll & Cost Control

Oversee payroll accounting and statutory deductions
Monitor expenses, budgets, and cost control measures
Support management in financial planning and analysis

Team & Process Management

Supervise junior accountants and review their work
Improve accounting processes and internal controls
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies
