Responsibilities 📌

Lead month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation in compliance.

Oversee general ledger accuracy by reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts.

Supervise AP/AR tasks, ensure timely invoice/payment processing, and optimize cash flow.

Record, depreciate, and reconcile fixed assets; maintain asset ledgers.

Prepare internal and external financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual), variance analyses, and audit schedules.

Assist with audits, tax returns (corporate/GST/HST and Others Taxes), regulatory filings, and grant reporting where applicable.

Identify and implement enhancements to streamline accounting workflows, tooling, and internal controls.
