Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities • Indian Statutory Compliance: Oversee complete computation, timely deposition, and filing of GST (GSTR-1, 3B, 9), TDS, and TCS returns. Perform rigorous monthly reconciliations of GSTR-2B with purchase ledgers to avoid Input Tax Credit (ITC) leakages. • Inventory & Channel Financing: Reconcile physical stock (New Cars, Used Cars, and Spare Parts) with the accounting ledger. Manage bank Channel Finance limits, funding schedules, and interest payouts. • OEM & Incentive Reconciliation: Track and reconcile accounts with the Automobile Manufacturer (OEM) for vehicle dispatches, target incentives, marketing subsidies, and warranty payments. • Multi-Departmental MIS: Handle distinct accounting books for Sales, Service (Workshop), and Spares departments. Deliver monthly MIS reports and department-wise profitability dashboards to the Dealer Principal. • Revenue & Pay-out Auditing: Verify vehicle sales invoicing, RTO registration margins, and insurance commissions (F&I; payouts). Compute sales team payouts and commissions. Requirements and Qualifications • Education: B.Com, M.Com, or MBA (Finance). Semi-qualified CA or CMA candidates are highly preferred. • Experience: 4 to 7 years in corporate accounting, with a mandatory 2+ years inside an Indian automotive dealership network. • Technical Skills: Advanced mastery of Tally Prime (or specific ERPs) and deep familiarity with OEM dealer portals or DMS platforms like Autoline (Keyloop) or MS Dynamics. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is required. • Tax Knowledge: Clear understanding of GST rules, including the GST Margin Scheme for pre-owned vehicle exchanges.
