Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, and expenses.
Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely accounting entries.
Handle GST returns, reconciliation, e-invoicing, e-way bills, and GST-related compliance.
Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and returns.
Perform bank, ledger, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor accounts receivable and payable and follow up on outstanding payments.
Prepare and verify invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and other accounting documents.
Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and customers whenever required.
Assist management with financial analysis, MIS reports, budgeting, and cash-flow monitoring.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
