Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, develop vendor relationships, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure the timely availability of quality materials and services for infrastructure and tunnel construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors and suppliers.

• Source materials, products, and services as per project requirements.

• Prepare and issue enquiries and RFQs to vendors.

• Compare quotations, negotiate rates, and finalize commercial terms.

• Prepare and issue purchase orders as per approved requirements.

• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Monitor material quality and ensure compliance with specifications.

• Maintain purchase records, vendor documents, quotations, and MIS reports.

• Coordinate with site teams, stores, finance, and project teams for procurement requirements.

• Assist in cost analysis, rate contracts, and budget control.

• Follow up on pending orders and resolve vendor-related issues.

• Ensure procurement activities are carried out as per company policies and procedures.

• Maintain good relationships with existing vendors and identify potential new suppliers.

Requirements

• B.Com / Diploma / Graduate in any stream.

• 2–5 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement.

• Experience in Construction / Infrastructure industry will be preferred.

• Good knowledge of market rates, materials, suppliers, and vendors.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.

• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and vendors.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Strong follow-up and vendor management skills.

• Candidate based in Pune will be preferred.

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
