Middle Office Specialist - Corporate & Investment Banking Lending Operations

CIBLO CRE Middle Office About this role : Wells Fargo is seeking a CIB Lending Operations Middle Office Specialist to support efficient lending operations, strengthen controls, and mitigate operational risk while delivering consistent support to businesses and customers. In this role, you will: Serve as an intermediary between front-office and back-office teams throughout the lending origination and trading process Participate in low-to-moderately complex lending operations initiatives and identify process improvement opportunities Execute credit requests and maintain data across loan and operating exposure products Support client and legal-entity onboarding, system setup, document review, checklist completion, booking, funding, and collateral requirements Review credit approvals and legal documentation and complete applicable regulatory and compliance requirements, including screenings and Know Your Customer confirmation Partner with Loan Operations to support closing and funding activities, resolve routine issues, and escalate exceptions as appropriate Review and analyze business, operational, or technical assignments requiring research and evaluation of alternatives Exercise independent judgment and recommend solutions for low-to-moderately complex situations and medium-risk deliverables Apply developing knowledge of functional policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Collaborate with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders. Required Qualifications: 2+ years of credit operations, loan operations, or deal support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education. Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of end-to-end lending operations Experience with loan booking, closing, and funding processes Proficiency in LIQ Knowledge of credit documentation and loan servicing processes Familiarity with KYC, regulatory, and compliance requirements Experience reviewing loan and credit documentation Ability to identify operational issues and escalate exceptions appropriately Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills Ability to collaborate effectively with front-office, back-office, and lending operations teams Posting End Date: 28 Oct 2026 •Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.
