Junior Accountant

Core Accounting Tasks:

• Financial Record Keeping:

  Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger accounts and journal entries. 

• Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  Processing invoices, managing payment schedules, and ensuring timely collection of payments. 

• Bank Reconciliation:

  Reconciling bank statements with the company's financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies. 

• Financial Reporting:

  Assisting in preparing various financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. 

• Budgeting and Forecasting:

  Supporting budget preparation and forecasting activities. 

Advanced Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis:

  Analyzing financial data to identify trends, potential problems, and areas for improvement. 

• Tax Compliance:

  Assisting with tax preparation, filing, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations. 

• Payroll Processing:

  Managing payroll-related activities, including calculating wages, taxes, and deductions.

  Assisting with internal audits, gathering documentation, and providing insights to auditors. 

• System Maintenance:

  Maintaining and updating accounting software and databases. 

• Vendor Relations:
