Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally, a basic understanding of GST, and the ability to manage day-to-day accounting and billing operations efficiently.

This role is best suited for candidates with around 1 year of experience who are looking to enhance their skills in accounting, taxation, and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting entries using Tally (ERP 9 / Tally Prime)
Prepare and manage sales invoices, purchase invoices, and billing records
Assist in GST data preparation, filing support, and related documentation
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper financial record maintenance
Maintain ledgers and ensure all accounting records are up to date
Handle billing processes, invoicing, and petty cash management
Coordinate with internal teams for financial data collection and verification
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies

Required Skills

Working knowledge of Tally (ERP 9 / Tally Prime)
Basic understanding of GST and accounting principles
Proficiency in MS Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and coordination skills

Educational Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or any related commerce field
