Job Description

We are looking for an Junior Accountant to join our team at at Stepwise Consulting. The role involves managing financial transactions of the organization, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The position offers ₹15,000 - ₹22,000 and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain books of accounts and record daily financial transactions
Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports
Handle GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances
Support in income tax filings and audit processes
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
Manage invoices, payments, and expense tracking
Assist in client handling and documentation work
Maintain proper records of financial documents

Required Skills & Qualifications:

B.Com / M.Com
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
Familiarity with GST, TDS, and Income Tax
Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and organizational skills
