Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance team. The role involves assisting in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.

• Record journal entries, maintain ledgers, and reconcile bank statements.

• Support in preparing financial statements and management reports.

• Verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and expense claims.

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

• Maintain accurate documentation of financial transactions.

• Support audits (internal and external) by providing necessary data.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.

• Coordinate with internal departments for accounting-related queries.

• Perform other finance and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 0–2 years of accounting experience (freshers can also apply).

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/ERP/SAP preferred).

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
