Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to support our finance and accounting team. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in preparing reports to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software.
Assist in preparing invoices, bills, and payments.
Maintain and reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts.
Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings.
Verify expense claims and process reimbursements.
Coordinate with vendors and clients for payment follow-ups.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
Ensure timely and accurate data entry and record keeping.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
6 months–1 years of experience in accounting.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of Tally/ERP or other accounting software is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
