Junior Accountant

We are a Chartered Accountancy firm based in Goregaon West, Mumbai, looking for enthusiastic and motivated candidates who wish to build their careers in the fields of Accounting, Taxation, Auditing and Compliance.

This opportunity is ideal for freshers who want to gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience by working with clients across various industries.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintaining books of accounts, recording daily transactions, bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.

• Finalisation of Accounts: Assisting in the preparation and finalisation of financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account and supporting schedules.

• GST Compliance: Preparation and filing of GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, GST reconciliations and related compliance work.

• TDS Compliance: Preparation and filing of TDS returns, reconciliation of TDS balances and assistance with related compliances.

• Income Tax: Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, firms and companies.

• Audit & Assurance: Assisting in statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, vouching, verification and preparation of audit working papers.

• Client Coordination: Coordinating with clients for collection of documents, accounting information and other compliance-related requirements.

• Other Compliance Work: Assisting in ROC/MCA filings and other statutory assignments, as required.

Eligibility & Skills

• B.Com, or pursuing CA/CA Inter candidates are welcome to apply.

• Freshers with a willingness to learn and develop practical skills are encouraged to apply.

• Basic knowledge of accounting and taxation will be an advantage.

• Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally will be preferred.

• Good communication skills, attention to detail and a positive learning attitude.

• Ability to work in a team and meet statutory deadlines.

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 0 - 3 years of experience.
