Junior Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to support our Accounts & Finance team. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in audits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (Tally/ERP or equivalent).

• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Maintain ledgers, reconcile bank statements, and manage cash flow records.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements.

• Support in preparation of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.

• Assist in payroll processing and salary disbursement.

• Prepare vouchers, invoices, and ensure proper filing of financial documents.

• Coordinate with internal teams for data collection and reporting.

• Assist senior accountants during audits and financial reviews.

• Ensure compliance with company accounting standards and financial controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.

• 0–2 years of accounting experience (freshers may also apply).

• Candidates with experience in a CA firm are also encouraged to apply.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally ERP preferred).

• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.

• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the real estate, construction, or infrastructure sector.

• Knowledge of project-based accounting.
