# Role Summary
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations and maintaining accurate financial records. The role will also involve agreement preparation, documentation, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
# Accounting Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Prepare and maintain journal entries, ledger accounts, and accounting records•.
Assist in the preparation of Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets•.
Record and verify vendor invoices, client payments, expenses, calculations, and other financial transactions•.
Process vendor payments• and ensure all transactions are supported by the required documentation.
Maintain proper payment and expense documentation• and ensure records are complete and organized.
Perform bank reconciliations• and identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with GST compliance•, including data preparation, reconciliation, and related accounting activities.
Handle TDS-related accounting•, including deductions, records, and documentation.
Assist with Income Tax-related accounting and documentation•.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of all accounting transactions.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams regarding invoices, payments, expenses, and accounting-related queries•.
Assist in maintaining proper documentation and records for audits and statutory compliance•.
### Agreement & Documentation Responsibilities
Assist in preparing agreement drafts using approved templates and standard formats•.
Coordinate with relevant teams and stakeholders to collect the required details and supporting documents• for agreements.
Coordinate the agreement preparation, review, signing, and execution process•.
Maintain proper records of executed agreements• and related documentation.
Follow up with relevant stakeholders for pending signatures and required documents•.
• Ensure agreements and supporting documents are properly organized and maintained for future reference.
### Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of experience• in accounting or a similar role.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles and practices•.
Working knowledge of Journal Entries, Ledger Accounts, Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet•.
Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax•.
Hands-on experience with Tally and accounting entries•.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel•, including basic calculations and data management.
Ability to accurately handle financial calculations, reconciliations, and transaction records•.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial and documentation-related work.
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
Willingness to learn and take responsibility for assigned accounting and documentation activities•.
