Junior Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support various accounting tasks, including daily bookkeeping, GST/TDS compliance, tax filings, vendor coordination, and preparation of financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries (sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments).

• Handle data entry and accounting operations in Tally Prime 9.

• Prepare and manage purchase orders and sales orders.

• Process vendor payments and maintain vendor ledgers.

• Conduct GST working, GST RC (Reverse Charge), and GST return preparation.

• Assist in TDS calculations, TDS return preparation, and TDS deductions.

• Prepare bank reconciliation statements and manage petty cash.

• Assist with trial balance, profit & loss account, and balance sheet statements.

• Support in tax filings, statutory compliances, and documentation work.

• Maintain accurate audit files, vouchers, and other financial records.

• Provide support during internal and external audits.

• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams for accounts-related queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / BBA / M.Com preferred).

• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime 9, GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.

• Good understanding of vendor management and order processing.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.

• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

• Good communication and organizational skills
