We are looking for an Junior Accountant to join our team at at Everna Solutions Private Limited. The role involves managing financial transactions of the organization, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The position offers ₹25,000 - ₹30,000 and opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely tax filings, computations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Securely manage and back up financial data while maintaining confidentiality.
Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports.
Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.
Job Requirements:
A perfect candidate for this role should have a keen eye for numerical accuracy. The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 1 - 5 years of experience. Applicants must have knowledge about accounting and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
• Strong conceptual knowledge of accounting principles — Trading Account, P&L Account, and Balance Sheet preparation.
• Practical understanding of journal entries, including prepaid expenses, accruals, and adjustment entries.
• Working knowledge of GST — data preparation, return filing process, and 2B-vs-books reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of TDS — applicable sections, rates, threshold limits, and return filing process.
• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliation Statement (BRS) preparation.
• Advanced MS Excel skills — Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and other formula-based data analysis.
• Familiarity with accounting software (Tally Prime / Zoho Books or similar) preferred.
Good attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet reporting deadlines.
