🔨 Key Responsibilities
Financial Data Entry & Ledger Maintenance
Record Transactions: Post and process daily journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.
Accounts Payable (AP): Review, verify, and process invoices from vendors, matching them with purchase orders and ensuring timely payments.
Accounts Receivable (AR): Issue invoices to clients, track incoming payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
Reconciliation & Reporting
Bank Reconciliation: Match bank statements against the general ledger to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Expense Management: Review, process, and reconcile employee expense reports and corporate credit card statements.
Month-End Support: Assist senior accountants in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
Compliance & Administration
Tax Filing Support: Assist with the preparation of local, state, and federal tax filings (such as GST/VAT or sales tax returns depending on the region).
Document Management: Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for financial records, receipts, and vouchers.
Audit Preparation: Gather documentation and provide administrative support during internal and external financial audits.
