Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support our accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally / ERP / SAP).

• Assist in preparing invoices, bills, vouchers, and other accounting documents.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable entries.

• Perform bank reconciliations and verify financial data accuracy.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Assist in preparing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns under supervision.

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.

• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for payment and billing queries.

• Provide support during audits and financial reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 0–2 years of accounting experience (internship or full-time).

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP).

• Good numerical and analytical skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
