Job Title: Costing Engineer
Department: Costing / Finance
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare product cost estimates based on drawings, BOM, and customer requirements.
Calculate material, labor, machining, fabrication, and overhead costs.
Prepare and submit quotations within the required timeline.
Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase, and Sales departments for costing inputs.
Maintain costing records and update cost data regularly.
Analyze cost variations and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
Support management with profitability and pricing analysis.
Qualification:
Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in costing, preferably in hydraulic pipe or fabrication manufacturing.
Skills Required:
Knowledge of hydraulic pipe manufacturing and fabrication processes.
Strong understanding of BOM, engineering drawings, and cost estimation.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
Good analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
