Job Description

HDFC Life Financial Consultant (FC) roles involve generating leads and sales for life insurance products, providing financial advice, building client relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulations. • Financial Planning: Provide clients with comprehensive financial planning and advice, including retirement planning and investment strategies, to meet their specific goals. [1]

• Product Expertise & Sales: Effectively explain and cross-sell various financial products, such as life insurance, health insurance, and investment plans, customizing them to fit client needs. [1, 2]

• Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and business delivery goals through effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. [1, 4]


Operational & Compliance Duties


• Process Adherence: Comply with the company's sales management processes, including timely updates on sales applications and adherence to company values. [4]

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities and practices comply with the rules and regulations set by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) and the company. [1, 6]

• Client Servicing: Provide ongoing support to clients, including assisting with the claim process and managing policy renewals. [2, 3]

• Reporting: Provide daily updates to the Branch Manager on meetings and sales progress. [3]
