Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily financial and accounting operations for logistics activities (billing, freight payments, branch expenses, etc.).

• Prepare and maintain MIS reports, balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.

• Monitor freight receivables and vendor payments, ensuring timely billing and recovery.

• Manage fuel card expenses, driver advances, and branch-level financial controls.

• Handle bank reconciliation, fund flow, and petty cash management.

• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, E-way bills, and other statutory requirements.

• Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.

• Prepare monthly budgets and financial forecasts for operational cost planning.

• Analyze route profitability, cost per trip, and logistics efficiency reports.

• Collaborate with branch managers and operations teams for cost control and revenue improvement.

• Maintain strong relationships with banks, vendors, and customers for payment coordination.

• Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team to ensure smooth financial operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (MBA Finance preferred).

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounts, preferably in the logistics or transport industry.

• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / SAP / QuickBooks.

• Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, financial reports).

• Sound understanding of freight billing, route costing, and logistics expenses.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Good communication and coordination skills with operations and branch teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with digital payment systems and ERP automation.

• Knowledge of Power BI or dashboard reporting tools.

• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple branches.
