Accounts Finance Executive

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Manager – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for end-to-end management of

the organization’s finance and accounts function.

This is a leadership role involving team management, monthly financial closures,

statutory compliance, bank and vendor coordination, daily reconciliations, and

financial reporting. The role plays a critical part in ensuring the company’s financial

stability, accuracy, and scalability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT & REPORTING

● Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures

● Prepare Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements

● Create monthly expense reports and financial MIS for management

● Analyze financial performance, margins, costs, and variances

● Provide actionable financial insights to leadership

TEAM LEADERSHIP & SUPERVISION

● Lead and manage the Finance & Accounts team

● Review and approve accounting entries and reports

● Define and enforce SOPs for accounting, reconciliations, and compliance

● Ensure timelines, accuracy, and discipline across finance operations

STATUTORY & COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT

● End-to-end responsibility for GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory

compliances

● Ensure timely filing of returns, reconciliations, and payments

● Handle notices, assessments, and queries from tax authorities

● Managing & handling internal & external audits.

● Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and compliance advisorsJob Description

BANKING & TREASURY MANAGEMENT

● Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions

● Oversee fund planning, liquidity management, and settlement cycles

● Coordinate with bank managers for operational, compliance, and limit-related

matters

● Monitor and manage escrow / nodal / settlement accounts where applicable

RECONCILIATION & VENDOR MANAGEMENT

● Oversee daily reconciliations involving banks, wallets, API partners, and

merchants

● Manage accounting and settlements with API vendors and third-party service

providers

● Investigate and resolve reconciliation differences, reversals, and chargebacks

● Ensure accurate commission and payout calculations

SYSTEMS, CONTROLS & COORDINATION

● Ensure strong internal financial controls and audit readiness

● Improve accuracy and automation in reporting and reconciliations

● Work closely with Tech, Operations, and Risk teams to align system data with

accounting records

● Support process improvements and scalability initiatives

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

EDUCATION

● Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance

● CA / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred

EXPERIENCE

● 8–12 years of experience in Finance & Accounts

● Prior experience in fintech, payments, NBFC, or transaction-heavy businesses

preferred

TECHNICAL SKILLS

● Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP

● Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (MIS, reconciliations, reporting)

● Good understanding of transaction-based accounting and settlement logic
