Job Title: Finance Intern

We are looking for a Finance Intern with a strong foundation in financial concepts and a background in Bachelor of Financial Markets (BFM). The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the finance domain and be capable of supporting the company’s profitability tracking, cost analysis, and inventory planning.

This role requires someone who can work closely with the Accounts and Purchase departments to ensure a clear understanding of cost structures, stock planning, and cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in analyzing the overall profitability of the company and prepare detailed reports.

• Calculate and track product-wise profitability, including cost, margin, and contribution.

• Work closely with the Accounts team to monitor and analyze expenses and align them with product costs.

• Forecast stock requirements based on sales trends and coordinate with the purchase team.

• Plan and manage the cash requirement for stock purchases, both local and overseas.

• Contribute to cash flow management, ensuring sufficient working capital for stock procurement and operations.

• Support the Purchase team in evaluating vendors, reviewing quotations, and placing orders for inventory (domestic and international).

• Maintain and update comprehensive Excel-based financial models and trackers for internal reporting.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP)

• Understanding of product costing, profitability analysis, and working capital.

• Basic knowledge of import/export processes, purchase cycles, and vendor coordination.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Accounts, and Purchase teams.

Eligibility:

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor of Financial Markets (BFM) or a similar finance degree.

• Prior internship or experience in finance/accounts/purchase is a plus.

• Open to interns as well as experienced candidates for full-time roles.
