Ingersoll Rand India finance team consists of diverse profiles like Commercial Finance Leader, Operations Finance Leader, Finance Analyst, Costing and MIS, FP&A, Revenue accounting etc. across operations and commercial aspects of compressor business. With diverse profiles and the upcoming new plant expansion project, there would be many new opportunities coming within the finance team as well. Title : Finance Controller Job Summary : The Controller reports to Finance Controller, CSS India and is responsible for leading all the financial activities of a group company. Person would be accountable for monthly and quarterly financial accounting, planning, reporting, analysis, controls, and annual statutory reporting for the legal entities. Responsibilities : Leads entire Accounting/Finance team including payroll, cost analysis and reporting Management of the external audit process Preparation of annual statutory financial statements Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process and quarterly forecasting Finance business partner to the managing directors/ business head Balance sheet management and controls, including reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts Management of ledgers within the accounting system – maintaining records of Indian GAAP & US GAAP Managing payroll accounting Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate finance policies and procedures, statutory requirements, and internal controls processes. Establish processes for monthly closing per US and India GAAP requirement Consolidate & establish reporting of P&L’s within India business Other responsibilities as assigned or required Mandatory Skills & Qualification ( Candidates only with the following skill sets will be considered) Should be qualified Chartered Accountant. Should have working experience in Oracle/ SAP. Overall 12-15 years of working experience in any Manufacturing, Engineering, Pharma, Auto, Heavy Industrial Equipment Industry etc. 3-4 years’ Experience in leadership role in finance controllership/FP&A and management reporting. Desired skills: Expert in accounting & MIS/FP&A work Experience in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) would be an advantage. Understanding of accounting standards, budgeting, variance analysis/FP&A. Strong creative problem-solving mind-set. Clear grasp of verbal and written English.
