Job Description

Job Title: Costing Officer

Industry: Printing & Packaging

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate product costing for cartons, labels, flexible packaging, etc.
Analyze raw material costs (paper, ink, plates, adhesives, etc.) and update rate sheets.
Coordinate with production, purchase, and sales teams for cost inputs and quotations.
Prepare customer quotations and ensure competitive pricing.
Monitor actual vs estimated cost and highlight variances.
Maintain costing records and MIS reports.
Evaluate vendor quotations and suggest cost-saving measures.
Support budgeting and profitability analysis.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of printing processes (offset, flexo, gravure).
Good understanding of paper/board calculations and wastage norms.
Proficiency in MS Excel and costing tools.
Analytical and detail-oriented approach.
Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification:

Graduate (Commerce/Finance preferred)
2–5 years experience in printing/packaging industry costing
