Role: MIS Executive (Management Information Systems)

Location: F-128 Laxminarayan Industrial Area, BRC Compound, Udhna–Sachin Road, Surat, Gujarat

## About the role

The MIS Executive will build, automate, and maintain accurate management reports across sales, production, inventory, and finance to drive daily decision-making in a fast-paced textile/embroidery manufacturing and trading environment in Surat. The role emphasizes strong Excel/Google Sheets capability, disciplined data hygiene, and cross-functional coordination with production, sales, and accounts.

## Key responsibilities

- Design and automate daily/weekly/monthly MIS for sales orders, dispatches, receivables, purchases, production status, WIP, rejections, and inventory aging.

- Consolidate data from ERP/Google Sheets/manual registers; ensure accuracy, version control, and audit trails for all inputs and outputs.

- Run the Daily Management System (cut-offs, SLAs) and publish dashboards on time; investigate anomalies and escalate delays.

- Build trackers for order lifecycle (enquiry→order→production→QA→dispatch), TAT/SLA compliance, vendor performance, and customer-wise profitability.

- Create standardized data-entry templates with validations to reduce errors and improve adoption across teams.

- Perform variance analysis (plan vs actual), conduct root-cause analysis, and propose corrective actions with owners and timelines.

- Prepare weekly/monthly management review decks with insights and maintain a central repository of report definitions and SOPs.

- Partner with Accounts on receivables/payables MIS, credit control trackers, and short-term cash flow visibility.

- Collaborate with production to track machine utilization, efficiency, rework, and rejection analysis in embroidery workflows.

- Maintain data security, access controls, backups, and clean master data (items, customers, vendors, SKUs) with change logs.

## Skills required

- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets: pivot tables, lookups, nested formulas, array formulas, text functions, data validation, conditional formatting; basic Apps Script and jaba Script is a plus.

- Strong data cleaning, reconciliation, and validation discipline; ability to structure partial/manual inputs into reliable MIS.

- Business understanding of order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory cycles, and production flows in manufacturing/trading.

- Clear communication and stakeholder management to ensure timely inputs and process adherence.

## Qualifications and experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Science/Engineering; a background in Mathematics is advantageous.

- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in an MIS role within manufacturing/trading; textiles/garments/embroidery preferred.

- Exposure to ERPs or structured spreadsheet-based operations; basic scripting or BI tools (Data Studio/Looker/Power BI) is a plus.

## Compensation

- Salary range: INR 20,000 – 40,000 per month, based on experience and skills. [1]
