Credit Processing Associate - Microfinance and Commercial Vehicle Loan Assessment

Credit Processing Associate_Microfinance Business_0140_1288_1035266 Key Responsibilities Conduct credit appraisal and assessment of Commercial Vehicle (CV) and Construction Equipment (CE) loan proposals. Analyze customer profiles, banking transactions, bureau reports, financials, cash flows, and repayment capacity. Evaluate asset value, existing obligations, and overall creditworthiness of customers. Prepare credit notes and recommend proposals as per credit policy and delegated authority. Handle credit assessment for individual customers, transport operators, small businesses, and SME customers. Ensure adherence to credit policies, processes, compliance requirements, and prescribed TATs. Coordinate with Sales, Operations, RCU, Legal, and Collections teams for smooth processing of proposals. Monitor portfolio quality and highlight early warning signals, if any. Ensure proper documentation and support audit and compliance requirements. Stay updated on credit policies, market trends, and underwriting guidelines. Desired Profile Post Graduate preferred. 2-5 years of experience in Credit Assessment, Underwriting, or Credit Risk. Experience in CV/CE Finance, Vehicle Finance, Asset Finance, SME Finance, or Retail Lending preferred. Understanding of financial statements, banking analysis, bureau reports, cash flow, and repayment capacity assessment. Knowledge of credit policies, loan documentation, and underwriting processes. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Good communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Experience Level Mid Level
