Job Description: Credit Control Executive

Position: Credit Control Executive
Department: Accounts / Finance
Experience: 2–5 Years
Qualification: Graduate (B.Com preferred)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Credit Control Executive responsible for managing customer accounts, monitoring outstanding payments, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining healthy cash flow for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

· Monitor customer outstanding balances and ensure timely payment collections.

· Follow up with customers for overdue payments through calls, emails, and regular communication.

· Maintain customer ledgers and update payment records.

· Prepare ageing reports (Receivables Ageing) and share collection status reports.

· Coordinate with sales team regarding customer payments and credit limits.

· Verify customer accounts, invoices, and payment discrepancies.

· Resolve billing and payment-related queries with customers.

· Track credit exposure and recommend credit limit adjustments when required.

· Maintain proper documentation of payment follow-ups and customer communications.

· Prepare daily/weekly/monthly collection MIS reports.

· Coordinate with accounts team for reconciliation of customer accounts.

· Support month-end closing activities related to receivables.

Required Skills:

· Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.

· Good communication and customer handling abilities.

· Knowledge of accounts receivable and credit management.

· Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/ERP preferred).

· Good analytical and reporting skills.

· Ability to handle multiple customer accounts.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

· Graduate with 2–5 years of experience in Credit Control / Accounts Receivable / Collection profile.

· Experience in handling B2B customer payments will be preferred.

· Candidates from trading, textile, manufacturing, distribution, or FMCG industries will be preferred.
