Job Description

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹18,000 - ₹28,000 per month + performance incentive

Role Overview

Join our team and learn underwriting on live MSME and corporate loan cases (Business Loan, LAP, Working Capital etc).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, verify and organise client financials, ITRs, GST returns and bank statements

  • Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet and cash flow summaries

  • Compute DSCR, Current Ratio, TOL/TNW and Interest Coverage

  • Analyse bank statements: inflows, obligations, cheque returns, banking behaviour

  • Draft Credit Appraisal Memos (CAM) for senior review

  • Prepare complete, error-free lender submission files

  • Track file status and respond to basic lender queries

  • Update the case tracker daily

Performance Metrics

  • Data preparation turnaround: within 24 hours

  • Ratio and data accuracy: 95%+

  • File rework rate: below 20%, improving to below 10% within 6 months

  • Daily case tracker updates: 100%

  • Lender query response: within 24 hours

  • Independent CAM drafting within 6 months

Qualifications

  • Graduate in Commerce / Finance / Accounting (B.Com, BBA, MBA Finance; CA Inter or CMA Inter preferred)

  • 0-2 years of experience in credit, banking, NBFC, accounting or a CA firm

Skills Required

  • Strong fundamentals in accounting and financial statements

  • Working knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivots)

  • Good written communication

  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn

Compensation and Terms

  • Fixed: ₹18,000 - ₹28,000 per month, based on experience

  • Variable: Incentive linked to file accuracy and sanction value

  • Probation: 6 months

  • Notice period: 30 days
