Credit Analyst-SUPPORT SERVICES-Credit As a Credit Analyst, you will play a vital role in our credit department, providing analytical support and ensuring the smooth operation of credit processes. Your primary focus will be on conducting thorough credit assessments, evaluating financial statements, and analyzing credit risk. You will work closely with the credit team to develop strategies, monitor credit performance, and make informed recommendations to support our business objectives. Conduct comprehensive credit assessments for new and existing clients, evaluating financial health and creditworthiness. Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and other relevant data to identify potential risks and opportunities. Prepare detailed credit reports, including credit ratings, risk assessments, and recommendations for credit limits. Monitor and review credit portfolios, identifying trends and potential issues, and implementing strategies to mitigate risks. Collaborate with the credit team to develop and implement credit policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Maintain accurate records and documentation for credit files, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Provide support and guidance to other departments, such as sales and operations, on credit-related matters and best practices. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and economic factors that may impact credit decisions and strategies. Assist in the development and implementation of credit scoring models, utilizing advanced analytics and machine learning techniques. Participate in credit committee meetings, presenting credit assessments and providing insights to support decision-making. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit analysis or a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends. Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to credit assessments and risk evaluation. Proficiency in using financial analysis tools and software, such as Excel, and experience with credit scoring models. Good understanding of credit risk management principles and regulatory requirements in the banking sector. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex credit information clearly. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with internal stakeholders. Willingness to stay updated on industry developments and continuously enhance credit analysis skills.
