Billing & Cash Handling
Operate POS/billing software to generate invoices accurately.
Receive payment through cash, cards, UPI, or other modes, and issue receipts.
Maintain cash float and reconcile cash at the end of each shift/day.
Report any discrepancies to the Branch Manager immediately.
Customer Service
Greet customers politely and assist them with billing queries.
Ensure a smooth checkout process without delays.
Handle customer complaints related to billing professionally.
Product & Stock Awareness
Be aware of product prices, offers, and discounts to avoid billing errors.
Coordinate with sales and store staff for product availability.
Record Maintenance
Maintain daily sales register, cash report, and handover summary.
Keep billing area clean, organized, and presentable.
Compliance & Security
Follow company SOPs for billing, returns, and exchanges.
Ensure safe handling of cash and confidential data.
Minimum Qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate (preferred).
Prior experience in retail, billing, or cashier roles (FMCG/sweets/bakery preferred).
Basic knowledge of computers and billing/POS software.
Good communication skills in Tamil; knowledge of English/Telugu/Hindi is a plus.
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
